You can do something like

ScalarProduct[p, q] /.
  FCI[SP[p, q]] -> {p1, p2, p3, p4}.{q1, -q2, -q3, -q4}

but in general FeynCalc works with Lorentz invariant quantities, not
single components of 4-vectors.
