Yes, PHI has a problem with mma 5.0. I'm working on it and will make sure
it works in the next release.
I've done made some initial fixes and recommend you get the latest versions
of Utilities.m and Objects.defs.m from the CVS repository,
http://www.feyncalc.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/HighEnergyPhysics/Phi/
Please let us know of any problems with these files or any other problems
with mma 5.0.
Regarding the QED example: Which version of FeynArts do you use? Did you
install it in the HighEnergyPhysics directory and did it get patched?
