probably some stupidity in an optimization somewhere.
One workaround is:
DS=MomentumCombine[DiracGammaExpand[DiracSlash[##1]]] &;
Tr[DS[a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h+i]]
Or use "Calc" before taking the trace.
-- Maybe someone has time to find the bug somewhere in DiracTrace.m ...I don't ...
